Welcome to Internationella Engelska Skolan in Uppsala. The school opened in August 2011 and is situated close to SLU in southern Uppsala, in what used to be the Genetic Center of SLU.

Becoming an IES student is the start of an exciting journey. You will learn to master English as well as Swedish in a structured environment with clear expectations and a focus on growth mindset and grit. You will be taught by teachers from Sweden but also from other countries around the world, giving the school an international touch. At IES Uppsala you also will make new friends to share your experiences with.
