Principal announcement

Dear parents, guardians, students and staff at Internationella Engelska Skolan Tyresö.

I am pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Björn-Andreas Eriksen as Principal of IES Tyresö starting in the autumn term 2021.

Mr Eriksen is an experienced educator, has a degree in teaching and has worked for a long time in the Swedish school system. He has a well earned record as Assistant Principal with proven experience in Stockholms Stad and Tyresö, and is most excited about taking on the new role as Principal. An engaged and experienced leader who embraces our IES culture and belief in visible leadership.

Please join me in congratulating Mr Eriksen as well as wishing him all the best in his journey on developing IES Tyresö in the IES ethos and spirit.

May I once again take this opportunity to thank you for your support, trust and patience during such challenging times in our society this school year. I wish you all an enjoyable summer break and we look forward to welcoming you back to a new school year in August 2021.
