Welcome to IES Tyresö
IES Tyresö started in August 2014. Today we have 30 classes for about 940 students in grades 4-9.
The school is located near the Nacka-Tyresö municipality border and is about 13 minutes from Gullmarsplan by bus (with a three-minute walk from the Masten bus stop) or about 6 minutes walk from Tyresö Centrum. Our school has a covered parking garage only a stone's throw from our main entrance.
In addition to our fantastic school building, we also have contracted with Tyresö municipality for the exclusive use of the lovely Tyresö Vallen on weekdays during the school year.
Internationella Engelska Skolan Tyresö is a bilingual school for students in years 4-9.
Our school is a safe and calm environment where teachers can teach and students learn, and we are committed to helping every child reach their full potential.
We teach using the Swedish national curriculum and up to half the education in our school is delivered through the English language by qualified teachers from English-speaking countries including Canada, the USA, and the UK.
