On our Student Care Team, we have a special education teacher, school counsellor, nurse, guidance counsellor, and student development/behaviour specialists. We take both a proactive and a responsive role in the school.

We aim to have a holistic approach to our students’ wellbeing, and therefore work together as a team to make sure our students are well looked after. On an as needed basis, we collaborate with Mentors, Heads of Years, and external organisations (such as social services, etc.).

As part of our proactive work, we run a Life Skills lesson once a week with our students in Years 5, 7, and 9 to ensure they have regular contact with our Student Care Team and discuss important social topics.

Confidentiality -”tystnadsplikt”

The Student Care Team works with each other and with other school staff if necessary, and student confidentiality is observed. Student confidentiality is regulated by school law (Skollagen) and the Patient Safety Act (Patientsäkerhetslagen).
