At IES Årsta we provide a safe and calm environment with high academic expectations where students can learn and reach their full potential. Currently we provide a bilingual English and Swedish Education to 760 students following the Swedish curriculum.
As Principal of IES Årsta, I’m extremely proud of our international community. Our school is a welcoming place where all students, regardless of background, can expect to be challenged to reach their full potential in a safe and secure environment.
A large part of what makes IES Årsta special is our attention to ensure each student is academically challenged. Our teachers are prepared to meet our students at an individual level while stimulating a desire to excel in their respective subjects. I am very proud to see in our latest student survey that 9 out of 10 students felt academically challenged in their lessons here at IES Årsta.
