Internationella Engelska Skolan will open three new schools in August 2022:

• IES Växjö - an F-9 school in Telestadshöjden for around 600 students
• IES Staffanstorp - an F-9 school in Vikhem for around 600 students. Vikhem is a new area in the south of the municipality.
• IES Trelleborg - an F-9 school in Fagerängen for around 700 students. The school will be just north of Fagerängen.

Future planned schools:

• IES Norrtälje, proposed to open in August 2023, an F-9 school for around 600 students, located centrally in Norrtälje. 
• IES Vårby, proposed to open in August 2023 in a new residential area of Huddinge, Vårby Udde. This will be an F-9 school for around 600 students. 
• IES Österåker, proposed to open in August 2023, in a central location.  This will be an F-9 school for around 600 students.
• Södra Änggården, proposed to open in August 2024, west of the city centre in Gothenburg. This will be an F-9 school for around 900 students. Provided all the necessary permits are obtained, the queue is scheduled to open on 1 February 2023.
